Pastor Peyton Bowman
Pastor Peyton and his wife Michaela joined MBC in November of 2025. God has graciously blessed the Bowmans with two children–Greyson and Susannah.
Peyton has been involved in ministry in Rockcastle County since 2015 when he began serving in the student worship band at FBC Mount Vernon. In 2023, he graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a BA in Broadcasting & Electronic Media. Shortly after graduation and becoming married to Michaela, he would begin working toward earning his MDiv from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
In his spare time, Peyton enjoys watching and talking sports, playing guitar, and watching pro wrasslin'.
Deacon Damon McGuire
Deacon Damon McGuire
Bro. Damon and his wife Sonya have been members of Maretburg Baptist Church since 2022. Their family began on October 7, 1994, when they were united in marriage. Since then, they have been blessed with two sons-Devon and Drew.
Damon has taken several seminary extension classes and has had many roles in his ministry. Some of those include Association VBS Director, Youth Director, Association Executive Board Member, Trustee, Children’s Church Leader, Sunday School Teacher, and Bible Study Leader. He was ordained as a deacon of Maretburg Baptist Church on November 17, 2024.
Damon loves the outdoors. He enjoys fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle.
